- 1. ¶ NOW these were the sons of David that were born to him in Hebron: the first-born Hamnon, by Ahinoam the Jesreelitess; the second Caleb, by Abigail the Carmelitess;
- 2. The third Absalom, the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth Adonijah, the son of Haggith;
- 3. The filth Shephatiah, the son of Abital; the sixth Ithream, by Eglah his wife.
- 4. These six sons were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months; and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.
- 5. Now these are the names of the sons that were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shecob, Nathan, and Solomon,

- 7. Eliphelet, Nogah, Nepheg,

- 13. Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son. Manasseh his son,
- 14. Arnon his son, Josiah his son.
- 15. And the sons of Josiah were: his first-born Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
- 16. And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
- 17. And the sons of Jeconiah: Ashrashtiel his son,
- 18. Malcom his son, Peraiah his son, Shaazar his son, Nekamiah his son, Shimei and Shaua his sons, and Nedabiah his son.
- 19. And the sons of Nedabiah were Zerubbabel and Shemei; and the sons of Zerubbabel Meshullam and Hananiah, and Selkath was their sister;
- 20. And Hashubah, Jehoael, Beria, and Hasadiah.
- 21. And the sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jesaiah; Arphaiah his son, Arnon his son, and Aobiah the son of Jesaiah.
- 22. And the son of Shechaniah: Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, Negael, Azariah, and Hezekiah;
- 23. And the sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.
- 24. Also Hodaiah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Jacob, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anan.
