- 1. ¶ MAY the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
- 2. Send you help from his sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion.
- 3. Let the LORD remember all your offerings, and make acceptable your burnt sacrifices.
- 4. May the LORD grant you according to your own heart, and fulfil all your counsel.
- 5. We will be glorified in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will be exalted; the LORD fulfil all your petitions.
- 6. ¶ Henceforth it is known that the LORD has saved his anointed; and has heard him from his holy heaven and saved with the strength of his right hand.
- 7. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will prevail through the name of the LORD our God.
- 8. They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand ready.
- 9. O LORD, save us, and let our King answer us in the day when we call upon him.
