Глава 127

1. Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vaine that build it: except the Lord keepe the citie, the watchman waketh but in vaine.
2. It is vaine for you to rise vp early, to sit vp late, to eate the bread of sorrowes: for so hee giueth his beloued sleepe.
3. Loe, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the wombe is his reward.
4. As arrowes are in the hand of a mightie man: so are children of the youth.
5. Happie is the man that hath his quiuer full of them, they shall not be ashamed: but they shall speake with the enemies in the gate.
