Глава 124

1. ¶ IF it had not been the LORD who stood on our side, now may Israel say,
2. If it had not been the LORD who stood on our side when men rose up against us,
3. Then would they have swallowed us alive when their wrath was kindled against us,
4. Then would they have drowned us in the waters, the stream would have gone over us;
5. Then the great waters would have gone over us.
6. ¶ Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7. Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we are delivered.
8. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

1.Надеющийся на Господа, как гора Сион, не подвигнется:
пребывает вовек.

2.Горы окрест Иерусалима,
а Господь окрест народа Своего отныне и вовек.

3.Ибо не оставит [Господь] жезла нечестивых над жребием праведных,
дабы праведные не простерли рук своих к беззаконию.

4.Благотвори, Господи, добрым и правым в сердцах своих;

5.а совращающихся на кривые пути свои
да оставит Господь ходить с делающими беззаконие.
