Глава 8

1. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory aboue the heauens.
2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength, because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemie and the auenger.
3. When I consider thy heauens, the worke of thy fingers, the moone and the starres which thou hast ordained;
4. What is man, that thou art mindfull of him? and the sonne of man, that thou visitest him?
5. For thou hast made him a little lower then the Angels; and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6. Thou madest him to haue dominion ouer the workes of thy hands; thou hast put all things vnder his feete.
7. All sheepe and oxen, yea and the beasts of the field.
8. The foule of the aire, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoeuer passeth through the paths of the seas.
9. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

2.Господи, Боже наш!
как величественно имя Твое по всей земле!
Слава Твоя простирается превыше небес!

3.Из уст младенцев и грудных детей Ты устроил хвалу,
ради врагов Твоих,
дабы сделать безмолвным врага и мстителя.

4.Когда взираю я на небеса Твои — дело Твоих перстов,
на луну и звезды, которые Ты поставил,

5.то что есть человек, что Ты помнишь его,
и сын человеческий, что Ты посещаешь его?

6.Не много Ты умалил его пред Ангелами:
славою и честью увенчал его;

7.поставил его владыкою над делами рук Твоих;
все положил под ноги его:

8.овец и волов всех, и также полевых зверей,

9.птиц небесных и рыб морских,
все, преходящее морскими стезями.

10.Господи, Боже наш!
Как величественно имя Твое по всей земле!
